For those that we were not able to award this year I encourage you to take a look at our grant opportunity as well as the college scholarship when deciding whether to apply again next year.  I am happy to answer questions about either one.

Need Based scholarship:

This year the Foundation allocated for the first time a small portion of our scholarship payout towards need based students who are first generation college applicants.  We partnered with a Foundation out of Chicago called Pass With Flying Colors who runs an exceptional 8 year college access and persistence program designed to help under served high school students get to and succeed in college.  I am proud to say that the scholarships we are giving to 2 excellent students literally may be the difference in getting both on campus this fall.  The two need based winners are:

Isabel Gonzalez (North Park University)
Willy Duarte (Kennedy-King College)
